Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of Surprise, AZ is seeking compassionate caregivers for full- and part-time roles that provide in-home companionship and support. You will assist with bathing, grooming, light meal prep, medication reminders, and transportation, while upholding safety and dignity for clients.

Applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid Arizona driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting and transportation.
• Support with ambulation and medication reminders.
• Prepare simple meals and monitor safety during activities.
• Coordinate with care providers and document observations when required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications and Skills

• A reliable means of transportation with current Arizona insurance and a valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact effectively with a diverse audience including clients, families, care providers and other professionals.
• Must possess impeccable follow up and attention to detail and be able to exercise initiative, problem solve, apply sound judgment.
• Able to supervise, assess and evaluate care providers and advocate on behalf of clients and families. CNA’s and Home Health Aides encouraged to apply!
• Passionate about helping others live with dignity.
• Must present a positive and professional business image.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a current Arizona driver's license, current Arizona vehicle insurance, Social Security Card/Birth Certificate, current TB Test, and Level 1 Fingerprint card.
