Job summary

Friendship Village in St. Louis is seeking a compassionate part-time evening caregiver to support private duty residents and deliver quality personal care. You will follow care plans to help residents with daily activities while maintaining safety and comfort.

The role requires a positive attitude toward service, ability to work with aging adults, and a commitment to resident well-being in a friendly community.

Qualifications

• Our caregivers must have a strong, positive attitude toward customer service and a genuine interest in geriatric care.
• Ability to motivate and maintain relationships with staff and residents to support facility goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services per the care plan to meet patient needs.
• Assist with showers and hygiene, and support daily activities.
• Help with laundry and linen changes and provide escorts as needed.
• Promote safety, comfort, and continuity of care for residents.

Supportive service is when you see multiple clients throughout the day at certain times. The job duties vary depending on the client. We do med reminds, Showers, laundry, linen changes, and escorts. Just varies on the needs. The hours vary from each client.

Who You Are:

We seek a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Caregiver for our Private Duty department. This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents. The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative, and to work towards accomplishing facility goals.

Position Summary:

Caregiver performs various personal care services as outlined on the care plan/service plan as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.The Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a patient’s care.
