Job summary

Senior Living Residences is seeking Resident Care Associates to provide direct personal care to senior residents in a caring, home-like environment. You will track care in the electronic health record, assist with dining and light housekeeping, and participate in activities with residents.

Certification as a CNA or CHHA is required. The role is part-time with shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, based in Westfield, MA, with competitive pay and benefits beginning on hire.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required.
• Strong communication skills and reliability essential.
• Ability to work with seniors in a respectful, safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to senior residents.
• Join or lead activities with residents and track care in the EHR.
• Assist housekeeping and dining services as needed.
• Support across departments to foster cooperation and respect.

Rates start at $18 per hour; We do offer shift differentials (additional pay for certain hours)

WHAT OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSOCIATES DO:

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)**
• Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
