Job summary

Goddard House in Brookline, MA, is seeking Resident Care Associates to provide direct personal care to seniors and support daily living activities.

You will join or lead activities, document care in the electronic health record, and assist with light housekeeping while fostering a cooperative, inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Certification: CNA or CHHA is required.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents.
• Effective communication with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality and reliability in daily living assistance.

Full Time: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Per Diem, as needed availability

Rates start at $20 - $21 per hour based on work experience

WHAT OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSOCIATES DO:

• Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
• Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
• Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
• Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
• Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
• Work each day across all of our departments to create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)**
• Physical requirements : Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
