Job summary

Right At Home is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility, while delivering respect and comfort in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-approved CNA course completed; current students accepted.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.
• Current CPR certificate recommended.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle or access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance, bathing, incontinence care.
• Assist with ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving.
• Carry out light housekeeping and household chores.

In this role, we stand prepared to equip you with the right personal protective equipment (PPE) and are ready to assist as you care for our vulnerable population of seniors and adults with disabilities.Duties would include (but is not limited to) assisting the patient with activities of daily living such as providing assistance with personal hygiene (toileting, incontinence care, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair), ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores.

Must Haves

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
• Experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) course. Also willing to hire those who are currently taking the CNA course.
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Current CPR Certificate is recommended
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
