Job summary

Right at Home is urgently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients’ homes across Alabama. CNAs can choose flexible shifts, weekend hours, or a consistent part-time schedule that fits their life.

Expect one-on-one client interaction and meaningful, personalized support in a home setting. You will perform daily caregiving tasks, assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and medication reminders, while maintaining client safety and independence.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Previous caregiving/home care/healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Help with toileting and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as needed
• Providing medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Transportation, errands and appointments
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
