Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Memphis is seeking caregivers to work one-on-one with clients in the Shelby County area, with weekday, weekend and overnight availability. Applicants should have experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia care and are supported by a team that values compassion and reliability.

We offer weekly pay options, competitive wages starting at $14/hour, holiday premium pay, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, and paid skills training.

Qualifications

1 year minimum experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia care.
Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Background check and drug screen required.
Weekday, weekend and overnight availability.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
Prepare meals and ensure proper hydration.
Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
Help with light housekeeping and errands as needed.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings.
Monitor health and safety and report changes to family or care team.
Document care and maintain communication with family or care team.
Respond to emergencies following care plans.

18 years of age or older
