Comfort Keepers of Yuba Sutter and Nevada Counties is seeking compassionate caregivers to elevate the human spirit of our senior clients. We offer both full-time and part-time shifts, with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour.

Caregivers provide physical care, emotional support, and companionship for clients who may need assistance due to illness, injury, or disability. The ideal candidate demonstrates dignity, patience, and respect while encouraging empathy for clients at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must stand for long periods of time.
• Able to obtain State Home Care Aide License.
• Vaccinated against Covid-19 per CA mandate.

Responsibilities

• Home assistance – light housekeeping, errands, or transportation; accompany to appointments and assist with medications.
• Provide companionship and conversation to the client.
• Prepare meals and assist with personal living needs; help with bills and banking if needed.

The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.

The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

Responsibilities

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. Provide any financial aid if needed such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank or helping the client to pay their bills.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must stand for (sometimes) a long period of time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time.
• Ability to obtain State Home Care Aide License.
• Dependable transportation and vehicle insurance.
• Due to State of California Mandate, must be vaccinated against Covid -19.
