Comfort Keepers of Chico, CA is seeking compassionate individuals to elevate the human spirit of our senior clients. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with starting pay at $20.00 per hour.

You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship to help clients stay independent at home. We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and benefits for qualified staff, including mileage reimbursement and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Able to reach, bend, kneel and stand for long periods.
• Able to obtain State Home Care Aide License.
• Dependable transportation and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Home assistance – light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed, accompany clients to appointments, assist with medications, prepare meals, purchase food, provide personal assistance with general living needs (toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming), and provide financial aid if needed such as balancing checkbooks, banking, and bill payments.
• Companionship – provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting an individual.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must stand for a long period of time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for a long period of time.
• Ability to obtain State Home Care Aide License.
• Dependable transportation and vehicle insurance.
