Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Farmington Valley is seeking compassionate home care aides to support seniors in their own homes. You will build one-on-one relationships, help clients stay independent, and contribute to a caring community.

Required: at least two years of senior care experience, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a drug test and background check; TB test copy required. Preferred: CNA/HHA/PCA certification and a valid driver’s license.

What You'll Be Doing (Your Role):

You will be assisting clients with daily activities to help them remain independent and comfortable in their homes. This includes:

• Providing personal care assistance.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handling meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Managing necessary household needs.
• Offering companionship and respite services for the family.

What We Offer (Compensation):

• Short Shifts (2-3 hours): An Additional $1 per hour.
• All Other Shifts: Regular pay rate.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Requirements):

We seek committed individuals with a passion for serving and helping others live their best lives possible.

Required:

• A minimum two years of documented experience with seniors.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• TB test copy is required

Preferred/Bonus:

• CNA, HHA, or PCA Certification (required certification or proof of professional training is a plus).
• Driver's license with insured and reliable automobile.
• Previous experience as an at-home caregiver or in senior communities.
• Experience with Dementia/Hospice, including end-of-life care (not necessary, but nice to have).
• Pet friendly is a plus!
