Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Rio Grande Valley East is seeking a caregiver to cover overnight shifts (8PM–8AM) in Brownsville, TX. You will support clients at home with personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and companionship.

We welcome compassionate, reliable individuals with a HS diploma or GED; CNA/HHA certification is a plus. Reliable transportation is required, and prior home-care experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/HHA certification preferred if applicable.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Previous home care experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide assistance with personal care and mobility.
• Assist with transfers and range-of-motion exercises when needed.
• Plan, prepare, and assist with meals and feeding as required.
• Manage household tasks and provide companionship and respite for families.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Add if applicable for your location: A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
