Comfort Keepers is seeking a part-time caregiver for a client in the Avon area. The role starts at $18.00 per hour, with potential to earn $20.00 if CNA certification is obtained; free CNA classes are offered after 5 months if certified.

Responsibilities include helping with personal care, mealtime support, documentation, errands, and light housekeeping. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required, with strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares.
• Must have had driver's license for at least 3 years; personal vehicle required for shift.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Provide errands and transportation with own vehicle.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
