Job Summary

The Home and Community Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately if incidents or accidents occur.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when required.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting.
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Experience Desired

• Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of client demographics.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
