Summary

We are hiring PCA/Home Health Aides/Caregivers to work one-on-one with our in-home patients in Griswold, CT and surrounding areas. ALL shifts are available, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Report observations of the client’s condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when required for business travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, dental care, nail care, skin care, and transfers between bed, chair, and wheelchair. Assist with toileting needs.
• Help with household tasks essential to the client’s personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired:

• Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of patient’s background.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
