Summary

We are hiring PCA/Home Health Aides/Caregivers to work one-on-one with our in-home patients in East Haven, CT and the surrounding areas. All shifts available, including days, evenings, and weekends.

• Starting pay rate: $16.35 per hour

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client’s personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs.
• Ability to work independently in diverse home situations.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
