Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients’ homes around the Carbondale area. No prior caregiving experience is required and training is provided. Enjoy flexible scheduling and weekly pay while helping individuals stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, with both waiver and VA/private pay cases. You’ll build relationships and support daily activities, from bathing and meals to errands

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Lake Arie l and surrounding communities.

You’ll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you’re supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.

Pay

• $15/hour – Waiver cases
• $16 to $17/hour – VA and Private Pay cases

What You’ll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you’re supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual’s care plan
• Document the services you provide

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
