Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Gillett and surrounding communities.

You will build relationships with the person you support, helping them stay safe, comfortable and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience is required, as long as you are reliable and caring.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Dependable, caring and patient.
• Previous caregiving experience welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual's care plan.
• Document the services you provide.

Pay

• $15/hour – Waiver cases
• $16 to $17/hour – VA and Private Pay cases

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
