Job summary

Independent Home Health LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in the homes of clients in Honesdale, PA and surrounding communities.

You will help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home while building meaningful relationships with those you support. No professional caregiving experience is required, as long as you are reliable, patient, and caring.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming as needed.
• Help with mobility and daily activities.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.

You'll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you're supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide

What We're Looking For

You must:

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
