Job summary

A Place At Home - Fairfield South is seeking compassionate weekend Caregivers to support seniors in their own homes. You will assist with personal care, provide companionship, and help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent on Friday through Monday.

This role emphasizes reliable schedules, strong communication, and the ability to follow care plans while reporting changes to the supervisor. CNA certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or similar credential preferred.
• Must maintain First Aid, TB test, and required in-services.
• Background check and drug screening, including random testing.
• Physically able to perform caregiving duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Run errands or assist with grocery shopping as needed.
• Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers to join our team and support seniors over the weekend. In this role, you will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by assisting with daily living activities and providing companionship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Support mobility and safe transfers
• Run errands or assist with grocery shopping as needed
• Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor

Skills & Qualifications
