Job summary

Right at Home Monterey Bay is seeking caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in the Watsonville area. Join a team that prioritizes safety, training, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Ability to read/write/speak English as needed for the job.
• 1 year of caregiving experience (family or professional).
• Willing to commute to Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Watsonville, Soquel areas.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Background check required.
• CNA/Home Health Aide/PCA certification preferred.
• Willing to complete onboarding paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Limit housekeeping to 20% of time (vacuuming, dusting, etc.).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care and companionship activities.
