HomeWell Care Services in Largo, FL is seeking a motivated Recruiter / Operations Assistant to staff caregivers and support the HR/Operations team. This office-based role requires a valid Florida driver’s license and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has HR and health-care recruiting experience, strong communication, and organizational skills. There is growth potential into Operations leadership within the franchise network.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience; knowledge of HR and health care preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, telephone etiquette, and ability to interact with diverse backgrounds with strong customer service.
• Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through; comfortable with various technologies and computer programs.
• Initiative, problem solving and sound judgment.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands.
• Positive and professional business image.
• Proficiency in English; second language a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one.
• On-call availability outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Continually recruit caregivers to maintain pool of eligible and available caregivers.
• Create and post online job ads.
• Source potential applicants from resume databases and social media.
• Attend and/or host job fairs.
• Partner with local nursing assistant programs.
• Promote the agency’s employee referral program to current caregivers.
• Process applications/employment inquiries.
• Conduct pre-screens and/or in-person/virtual interviews; provide hiring recommendations to Operations Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Leadership.
