Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day operations of the Caregiver Support Program and ensure compliance with local facilities and VA Caregiver Support Program initiatives.
• Identify caregiver stress/burden and apply directed clinical treatment interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on caregiver issues and develop educational tools and training.
• Provide education and in-service training to VA employees, Veterans, families, and caregivers.
• Develop caregiver support groups and educational materials; distribute VA and partner resources.
• Respond to caregiver and family queries and navigate government and community agency processes.
