Job summary

Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers to support seniors and veterans in Newton, TX and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship tailored to each client’s needs, helping maintain safety and independence in the home.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on experience, health/dental/vision insurance, earned PTO, and opportunities for part-time, weekend, and overnight shifts with supportive staff and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2 years of caregiving experience is required.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of Newton, TX.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship tailored to each client’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility and transfers.
• Offer transportation to appointments and errands and provide emotional support.
• Encourage client independence and engagement.
