Job description

We have 400+ caregivers. They're the reason families trust us. And right now, their support infrastructure doesn't match the quality of care they deliver. That's what this role fixes.

As a Caregiver Success Supervisor, you'll own the caregiver experience for ~100-125 caregivers: their orientation, their engagement, their training, their timekeeping, their supervisory visits, and their day-to-day support. You're the person they know, the person they call, and the reason they stay.

This is a peer role alongside our ACCMs (who own client portfolios) and CCMs/RNs (who own clinical oversight). All three report to the Care Management Director. By owning caregiver management separately, you free the care team to focus entirely on client care and portfolio growth.

What You'll Do

Lead in-depth orientation for new caregivers: system integration (AlayaCare, ADP, EVV), policies and procedures, and operational expectations. You don't recruit - your scope starts at orientation.

Own all caregiver communications: email updates, policy reminders, organizational announcements, and engagement messaging

Plan and execute caregiver engagement initiatives: appreciation events, milestone celebrations, team gatherings, and recognition programs

Manage ADP administration: status changes, pay rate adjustments, timekeeping accuracy, and payroll discrepancy resolution

Coordinate planned caregiver trainings and track in-service hour completion, certification renewals, and specialty training

Manage RTO for caregivers returning from leave - compliance updates, skill refreshers, schedule reintegration

Conduct supervisory visits in the field: observe care delivery, coach in real time, document findings for QA

Provide daily support: answer questions, resolve issues, remove obstacles - you're their go-to person

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required. Associate's degree with substantial equivalent management experience may be considered.

HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred

CPR/BLS certification required (or within 30 days of hire)

Minimum of four years of experience in workforce management, HR operations, or caregiver/staff management in a home care, home health, hospice, or related healthcare setting

Demonstrated experience managing caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and retention in a high-volume environment

Experience with ADP or equivalent payroll systems and timekeeping platforms

Familiarity with CDSS Home Care Organization licensing requirements and Home Care Aide Registry processes preferred

Experience with care management software and HRIS/HR systems

Experience with California employment law compliance, including wage/hour regulations, meal/rest break requirements, and HR documentation standards

Strong written communication - you'll manage caregiver emails, announcements, and engagement messaging

Event planning skills - appreciation events, training sessions, team gatherings

Empathetic and approachable - caregivers need to trust and feel comfortable with you

Detail-oriented: you manage compliance tracking, training records, and ADP for 100-125 caregivers simultaneously

Supervisory visit experience in home care preferred

Why This Role Matters

Most agencies scatter caregiver support across care managers who are already stretched thin managing clients. We're doing something different: giving caregivers a dedicated leader whose only job is their success. You're not splitting attention between client portfolios and caregiver timesheets. You're 100% focused on making caregivers feel supported, trained, recognized, and heard. That's how you reduce turnover. That's how you build loyalty. That's how you change an industry.
