Job summary

A home care service provider is seeking compassionate Caregivers to enhance the lives of seniors in Glendale, California. In this role, you will provide essential non-medical services including companionship, assistance with daily activities, and transportation for appointments. Candidates should have a CNA or HHA license preferred, along with excellent communication skills and reliable transportation. The compensation is competitive at $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, with additional benefits and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
• Must have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance if transporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
• Help with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Transport clients for appointments and errands.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Possess valid CPR and First Aid Certification
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
