Job summary

Home Matters of North Denver in Colorado is seeking a Purpose Driven Caregiver to provide hands-on in-home support. You will follow detailed care plans, assist with daily activities, safety, and comfort, and deliver reliable, respectful, high-quality care to clients.

This role requires physical ability, background checks, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel up to 50 miles to Lakewood, Littleton, and Denver.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Able to pass all background and reference checks.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel 15–50 miles each way to client homes in Lakewood, Littleton and Denver.
• Willing to attend required in-person trainings/meetings at our Brighton, CO office.

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support safe mobility and transfers
• Give medication reminders (no medication handling)
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, and basic safety checks
• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
• Escort clients to appointments or outings as listed in the care plan
• Report any changes in condition to your supervisor or RN
• Protect client privacy (HIPAA)
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Complete orientation, annual training and Nurse Guided Care education
