Job summary

Right at Home – Northern Colorado is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical home care to clients in Larimer and Weld Counties. You will offer companionship, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.

Flexible shifts include day, evening, weekend and overnight hours; prior caregiving or CNA experience is preferred but training is provided, and applicants must be 18+ with reliable transportation and the ability to pass background

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, or CNA experience preferred, but not required training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for client visits).
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support during scheduled hours.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, toileting, mobility support and repositioning.
• Monitor client’s condition and promptly report changes to supervisor.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, tidying, meal prep if needed).
• Ensure a safe environment, including fall prevention and emergency response.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.

Position Summary

The Caregiver offers personal care and companionship during scheduled hours, ensuring client comfort, safety, and peace of mind. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working independently and providing essential care when families cannot be present.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support during scheduled hours.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as:

  • Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing)

  • Toileting or incontinence care

  • Mobility support and repositioning for comfort
