Job summary

Right at Home Modesto is seeking a dependable Home Care Scheduler to join our Modesto team. You will independently manage daily schedules for clients and caregivers, matching based on needs, availability and compatibility, while ensuring continuity of care in a fast-paced environment.

You will also handle caregiver communications, updates to families and staff, and maintain accurate scheduling records. This role requires initiative, reliability and comfort with scheduling software, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in scheduling, staffing, dispatching or fast-paced coordination preferred.
• Home care, healthcare staffing or senior care experience is a plus.
• Strong computer, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage daily and ongoing schedules for clients and caregivers.
• Match caregivers with clients based on needs, availability, location and compatibility.
• Respond to call-offs, schedule changes and new client needs promptly.
• Identify scheduling gaps and resolve issues before impacting care.
• Maintain caregiver availability, preferences and time-off requests.
• Monitor hours, overtime and scheduling efficiency to ensure continuity.
