Job summary

Home Instead is hiring full-time and part-time caregivers to help seniors stay at home with dignity and compassion. Care Pros provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, reminders for meds and appointments, grooming, and mobility support, including Alzheimer’s care.

Training and in-house certification ensure confidence before visiting clients. Applicants should be reliable, compassionate, and able to communicate well, with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Home Instead is hiring full time and part time caregivers to perform the essential work of keeping aging adults safe and comfortable at home.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s Care

Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Prior to working for our clients, all Home Instead caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals, or Care Pros for short—will go through specific training designed by Home Instead and will receive an in-house certification in Personal Care tasks. These tasks include demonstrating ability to assist our clients with grooming, bathing, continence care, and mobility. After training, our Care Pros will feel confident going into the client’s home and helping to support their emotional, physical and mental wellbeing.
