Visiting Angels Columbus Ohio is seeking a Caregiver Recruitment & Retention Specialist to lead hiring, onboarding, engagement, retention, HR compliance, and employee relations for our senior home care agency.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and proactive, balancing empathy with accountability while supporting after-hours on-call staffing needs and agency leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to balance compassion with professionalism and accountability.
• Proficiency with HR systems, ATS, scheduling software, and office tech.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregivers.
• Manage job postings and sourcing channels to maintain a caregiver pipeline.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone screens and interviews, coordinate hiring decisions.
• Oversee onboarding including background checks, paperwork, and credential verification.
• Track recruitment metrics and partner with leadership on staffing needs.
