Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is hiring Resident Assistants (RA) to provide essential daily living support to residents under nurse supervision. RAs deliver respectful personal care, assist with dining, and perform homemaking tasks while maintaining accurate daily charts.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility with hours'/shift schedules and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist residents in dining.

• Report changes in health status and update care plans as needed.
• Complete thorough daily charting.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Unlicensed Resident Assistants wage range is $17-$19/hr based on experience

Nursing Assistant/Registered wage is $18/hr and higher based on experience

The Caregiver, or Resident Assistant (RA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The RA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way
• Other duties as assigned
