Job summary

The Waters in Edina, MN is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide cheerful personal care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a nurse. You will help with bathing, grooming, dining, homemaking, and daily charting while delivering the Waters Way of care.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong customer service, with flexibility for shifts. Prior care experience and English proficiency are preferred; we offer paid training, benefits, and growth

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to be flexible with hours/shift schedules and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

The Caregiver, or Resident Assistant (RA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The RA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:
