Job summary

Heritage Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate PRN caregivers to provide delegated personal care in home settings in the Las Cruces, NM area. This role requires weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays) and involves assisting with ADLs, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship to support client safety and dignity.

Caregivers will travel between client homes in Las Cruces and surrounding areas, reporting to a clinical team and following care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be available Saturdays and Sundays (weekend availability required).
• Weekday shifts are not available for this role.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel between client homes in the Las Cruces, NM and surrounding area.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and positioning.
• Support medication reminders and delegated care tasks per care plan and state guidelines.
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
• Escort or transport clients to appointments and errands within the Las Cruces area.
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the clinical team.
• Follow all care plans and delegation instructions from licensed professionals.
