Job summary

Vitality in Lakeview, MS seeks a compassionate Personal Care Specialist to assist residents with daily activities, simple treatments and personal needs. You’ll follow service plans, help with laundry and pet care, and support overall resident well-being under the Wellness Director.

Applicants must be 18+, possess strong English communication, and meet health regulations. The role involves physical tasks and exposure risks; it is a full-time, on-site position with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services for residents (laundry and pet care).
• Observe and report resident problems to supervisor or Medication Tech/Aid as applicable.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.
