Job summary

Vitality is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to support residents in daily activities and care plans. You will assist with treatments, emotional support, and daily tasks such as laundry and pet care, while upholding company policies and participating in ongoing training.

Ideal candidates are 18+, capable of English communication, and compliant with health-related requirements. This role requires teamwork and adherence to care plans and assigned duties by the Wellness Director.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities per service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments per service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services such as laundry and pet care.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.
