Job summary

Morada Senior Living in Boerne, TX is hiring Care Givers to provide hands-on care and emotional support in a safe, home-like environment across our Independent Living and Memory Care communities. The role emphasizes helping residents with daily living activities and promoting dignity and independence.

Ideal candidates may hold a Certified Nurse's Aide certification (preferred), have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and demonstrate excellent communication and customer

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident's room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
