Job summary

Morada Senior Living is hiring Care Givers to provide hands-on care and support in a home-like setting, ensuring safety and dignified daily living for residents. You will assist with daily tasks and promote comfort and well-being across our Texas communities.

Eligible candidates have a HS diploma, CNA certification if possible, and are 18+. Prior senior care experience and strong customer service are a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred or active training in senior care.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Experience with seniors and strong customer service skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and work areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and safety.
• Provide physical and emotional support in a home-like environment.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities Include

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Position Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
