Summer Schedule: Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Fall Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Compensation: $28 to $33 per hour

More details:
A family in Madison, NJ is looking for a wonderful Manny/Nanny for their two children. The schedule between now and the end of the summer will be Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Beginning in late August/early September, the schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 1:00. Caregiver will mainly be with one child at a time so that Mom can have dedicated one-on-one time with the other child.

Duties include:
Preparing snacks and heating up meals for the children. Transporting them to sports and activities. Tidying up after them and doing their laundry during downtime is a plus but not required.

Ideal caregiver:
The ideal caregiver for this family is organized, honest, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator. They are attentive and alert and will be vigilant about avoiding sesame, egg, and tree nuts as the children are severely allergic. Looking for a caregiver who will engage the children in play and learning. They will nurture the children’s confidence and allow them to paint, write, and safely explore their environment.

About the children:
This smart toddler is affectionate, playful, curious, determined, happy, and independent. He loves being hands-on and thrives in an environment where someone plays with him! He enjoys science projects, music, gym classes, playing outside, and helping out in the “real” kitchen! He is currently playing soccer and swimming and participates in OT. He is talkative but may have a difficult time sharing his emotions. He has a severe sesame allergy and a mild allergy to nuts.

This 8-month-old little one is a chill baby. She is affectionate and enjoys being held. She is allergic to eggs and tree nuts. While this baby is growing in strength every day, the family is still managing her feeding and kidney care.

About the parents:
These parents are generally easygoing. Mom is an open book, loves to talk, and is transparent in every situation. Dad is a doer, even-keeled, and more quiet. They are both down-to-earth and focused on teaching their children kindness. They use both positive reinforcement and consequences to shape the kids’ behavior and would like Nanny to maintain consistency by doing the same. They understand that life can get crazy sometimes and do their best to be patient and respectful of others. All family members are vaccinated for Covid-19, and the parents are boosted as well.
