ComForCare Home Care is looking for experienced direct care professionals to work in the Fenton area for DAY and NIGHT shifts!

Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal hygiene assistance, such as showering/bathing, dressing, toileting
2. Remind clients to take medications
3. Safely assist with transfers and ambulation (Fall Prevention)
4. Help with mobility outside the home (transport to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, etc.)
5. Help plan and prepare meals and/or assist with feeding
6. Perform housekeeping duties
7. Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
8. Assisting clients with all Activities of Daily Living
9. Companionship and encouragement of hobbies and enrichment activities to improve quality of life
10. Safety oversight for cognitively impaired individuals

Qualifications:

1. 1 year experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment
2. Reliable transportation (Valid Driver's License Not Necessary)
3. Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting
4. Eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
5. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
6. Compassionate, kind individual that takes pride in their work
7. Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
8. High School Diploma or equivalent
9. Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, or completion of a CNA Program (No state license) preferred but not necessary
