Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living seeks a caring Caregiver in New York to assist residents with daily living activities, following ISP plans and documenting changes. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and independence while fostering meaningful interactions.

You will engage residents in conversations and activities, support dining services, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. We offer paid training, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth in a diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.
• Must have HHA, PCA or CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

What We’re Looking For:
