Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers and PCAs to provide non-medical, in-home support, companionship, and daily living assistance to seniors and adults with disabilities. As a caregiver, you will help with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, mobility support, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments, while promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Direct Care Worker, or related role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), bathing and grooming, toileting, dressing, etc.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, encourage independence and social engagement.
• Medication reminders as per care plan and transportation to medical appointments.

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care
• Bathing and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Dressing and personal hygiene
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Home & Daily Living Support
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and maintaining a safe environment
• Assistance with daily routines
• Companionship & Support
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist clients with daily activities
• Mobility Assistance
• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Supporting safe movement throughout the home
• Medication Reminders
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Transportation Assistance
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for caring, dependable, and responsible professionals who take pride in helping others.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Direct Care Workare similar role is a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks
