Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers and PCAs to provide non-medical support in clients' homes. You will help maintain dignity, independence, and safety for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities include ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, mobility support, and transportation to appointments as needed. Join a growing team dedicated to meaningful, in-home care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, or similar role is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage independence.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, and transportation to medical appointments or errands as needed.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

Personal Care

• Bathing and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Dressing and personal hygiene
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Home & Daily Living Support

• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and maintaining a safe environment
• Assistance with daily routines

Companionship & Support

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist clients with daily activities

Mobility Assistance

• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Supporting safe movement throughout the home

Medication Reminders

• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan

Transportation Assistance

• Transportation to medical appointments
• Assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable
