Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers/PCAs to provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care in clients' homes. You will support daily living activities, offer companionship, and help maintain safety and independence for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of personal care experience, ability to transport clients, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. TB testing proof is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as Caregiver/PCA/HHA/Direct Care Worker is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home.
• Offer transportation assistance and accompany clients to medical appointments when needed.
• Provide reminders for medications according to care plans and support daily routines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

Personal Care

• Bathing and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Dressing and personal hygiene
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Home & Daily Living Support

• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and maintaining a safe environment
• Assistance with daily routines

Companionship & Support

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist clients with daily activities

Mobility Assistance

• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Supporting safe movement throughout the home

Medication Reminders

• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan

Transportation Assistance

• Transportation to medical appointments
• Assistance with errands and community activities, when applicable

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for caring, dependable, and responsible professionals who take pride in helping others.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, Direct Care Worker, or similar role is a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks
