Job summary

Day Spring Home Health in Coppell, TX is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to support a female client living with ALS at home. You will assist with daily living activities while preserving independence, dignity, and routines.

Shift options include 12-hour day shifts, with possible overnight coverage. You may work day, overnight, or a combination depending on availability.

Responsibilities

• Support mobility and daily routines within the home.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to the client.
• Observe wellbeing and report concerns to the Day Spring supervisor.
• Follow the client's individualized care plan.

Schedule

Current coverage needs include:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:0o a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Some overnight shifts may also be available: 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.

Applicants may be considered for regular daytime shifts, overnight shifts, or a combination depending on availability.

Responsibilities

The caregiver will provide support with:

• Personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing/washing and personal hygiene
• Dressing and grooming
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Mobility and general assistance around the home
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Observing the client's general wellbeing and reporting any concerns to the appropriate Day Spring supervisor
• Following the client's individualized care plan

About the Home

The client has dogs in the home, so applicants must be comfortable working around dogs.
