Job summary

Sky Care Services Llc in Rock Hill, SC seeks a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support an adult male client who uses a wheelchair. The morning shift prepares him for his day program, and the evening shift helps after return and before bed.

Applicants should have reliable transportation and be able to assist with transfers, incontinence care, bathing, grooming, and daily routines, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance for both daily shifts.
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and support the physical demands of the role.
• Comfortable providing incontinence and personal hygiene care.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Prior personal care, CNA, or home care experience preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing and undressing.
• Assist with safe transfers into and out of the wheelchair.
• Provide incontinence care, including cleaning, changing, and skin checks.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene as needed.
• Prepare the client for daycare in the morning and for bed in the evening.
• Maintain a clean, safe personal care area.
• Clock in and out through the electronic visit verification system at each shift.
• Document care provided on the client task sheet.

• Monday through Friday: 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 2.5 hours
• Sunday: 1 hour
