Job summary

Elara Caring in Texas is hiring a Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients at home with essential daily activities, hygiene, mobility, meal prep, and companionship. You’ll help maintain comfort, dignity, and safety in clients’ homes while building trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal).
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend and assist clients up to 50 pounds.
• Committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
