Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Care Workers (DCW) after completing a free 40-hour training program covering regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills. The position offers a pay rate of $13 per hour and opportunities to work within Assistive Care State Programs.

Weekly pay is provided along with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment. Direct Care Workers will help with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, and other essential

Qualifications

• Successful completion of 40 Hour Direct Care Worker Course provided by BAYADA.
• Training includes basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for PCA/DCW.
• No additional certifications required beyond the course stated above.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Aid with bathing and grooming.
• Assist with toileting and nail care.
• Support range of motion exercises and transfers.
• Use mechanical lifting devices as needed.
• Assist with oral feeding and vital checks.
• Handle home management tasks like laundry and meal prep.
• Support ambulation and mobility.
• Provide medication assistance as directed.

BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a FREE forty (40) hour training program incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for PCA/ Direct Care Worker, DCW, graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice. $ 13 per hr

Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers, DCW:

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing

• Range of motion / exercises

• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
