Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions in Boone, NC is seeking a CNA, PCA or RCA who is caring, dependable and enjoys making a difference in residents' lives. You will provide hands-on support with daily activities and build meaningful relationships. Navion will provide the 80-hour PCA training.

This is a full-time opportunity with shifts across all hours, requiring every other weekend and holidays. Our team participates in Tapcheck payroll, letting staff access earned wages instantly and securely.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations.
• Willingness to obtain the 80-hour personal care training certificate. Navion can provide this training.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents.
• Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Sound judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities.
• Assist in dining room by serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond to emergency call system.
• Observe and report changes to Residents Care Coordinator or designee.
• Communicate with residents and families in a polite, professional manner.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per state regulations and Navion policies.
• Transport residents when required.
