Job summary

Trinity at Home in Salisbury, NC is hiring an In-Home Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to support clients in their homes across our service area. The role covers all shifts with a pay rate of $13–$15 per hour and a schedule that includes weekdays and every other weekend.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help manage medications under supervision, while maintaining clear health records and coordinating with families and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in geriatric care or other healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of patient care and ability to adapt to individual needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and supportive environment
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor client health status
• Maintain clear records and communicate any health changes to families or healthcare professionals
• Support safe mobility, including walking, transfers, and the use of mobility aids
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe, clean environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
• Position: In-Home Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant (all shifts!)
• Pay: $13 - $15 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m., with every other weekend required
• Location: Client homes throughout our service area
