Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care in the Cheswick area. This role suits someone who enjoys meaningful connections and prefers a consistent weekday morning schedule with experience caring for clients with dementia.

Responsibilities include ADLs support, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and safe transportation to appointments or outings. A warm, professional demeanor and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
• Negative TB test (2-Step TB or QuantiFERON Gold) (Required)
• Healthcare/home care experience is a plus.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and prefers a consistent weekday morning schedule and who has experience working with Dementia clients.

Schedule

• Afternoon shifts (starting 1:00 PM)
• Evening shifts (starting 5:00 PM)
• Weekdays

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test (Required)
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.
